Junkers Ju290A-5/7 "Seeadler": The maritime giant for your collection

There has been a big problem for collectors of historic military aircraft in recent years: anyone who wanted to build a high-quality Junkers Ju 290 often had to pay horrendous prices on the secondary market or spend a long time searching. This impressive model has not been available since 2009. With this reissue (reintro) we are closing this gap. You finally get access to the only common kit of this type on the market again. It's the opportunity to add a true four-engine heavyweight to your fleet without having to compromise on availability.

 History:

The Ju 290 originally evolved from the Ju 90 civil passenger aircraft, but was quickly adapted for military purposes. Their main task was long-range reconnaissance over the Atlantic to detect Allied convoys and bring in German submarines. Due to its enormous range and strong defensive armament, it was a feared enemy among the Allies and was called the “Sea Eagle”. It is also interesting that a modified Ju 290 was intended as a personal transport aircraft for Adolf Hitler ("Führer machine"), which underlines the reliability and performance of this design. With this kit you have an aircraft in your hands that marked the technological pinnacle of German long-range piston engine bombers.

Features:

• Exclusive returns: This is the only relevant model of the Ju 290 on the market - a real rarity is back.
• Gigantic dimensions: With a wingspan of almost 58 cm and a length of almost 40 cm, this 1/72 scale model goes beyond almost any frame.
• Attention to detail: The interior is extensively designed, which is particularly noticeable when the hatches are open.
• Variable armament: The gun turrets can optionally be displayed open or closed, depending on your diorama wishes.
• Sophisticated construction: With 262 parts and level 5, this kit is a project that challenges and encourages all your craftsmanship.
• Historical variance: The kit allows the representation of the A-5 or A-7 versions ("Sea Eagle").
