LENTUS – das leistungsfähigste ELAPOR-Segelflugmodell aller Zeiten! Der Lentus ist die neuste Entwicklung aus dem Hause MULTIPLEX. Das Modell ist als Clubsegler mit Schwerpunkt auf Thermik- und Hangflug ausgelegt. Wir haben im Lentus wieder eine Menge innovativer Ideen umgesetzt. Das Modell besitzt in der bereits gebauten RR-Grundversion einen leistungsstarken ROXXY- Brushlessmotor für 3S-2600er Akkus und ist serienmäßig mit 6 Servos vom Typ Hitec HS-65HB für Höhen-und Seitenruder, Querruder und Wölbklappen ausgestattet. Durch den Einbau des optional erhältlichen Einziehfahrwerks ist das Modell in Verbindung mit einem 4S 2600er Akku und einem 8x6“ Propeller eigenstartfähig. Als weitere Option ist es möglich, die vorbereitete Schleppkupplung durch den Einbau eines Servos vom Typ Hitec HS-65HB zu aktivieren, und das trotz eingebautem E-Motor und eingebautem Fahrwerk! Diese Option bietet maximalen Flugspass, damit ist der Lentus das sicherste Modell zum Erlernen von F-Schlepps, da bei einer kritischen Situation sofort ausgeklinkt werden kann, und das Modell mit dem E-Motor sicher zur Startstelle zurückholt. Durch die moderne Profilauslegung erreicht das Modell ein sehr großes Leistungsspektrum und lässt einen dynamischen Flugstil zu. Die 4-Klappenflächen ermöglichen punktgenaue Landungen (Butterfly). The Lentus is the very latest development from the MULTIPLEX stable. The model is intended to be a club-level glider with the focus on thermal flying and slope soaring. Once again the Lentus incorporates a whole raft of innovative ideas. In its basic factory-built RR version the model is fitted with a potent ROXXY brushless motor designed for a 3S / 2600 mAh battery, and is equipped as standard with six Hitec HS-65HB servos for elevator, rudder, ailerons and camber-changing flaps. With the optional retractable undercarriage installed, the model is capable of ground take-off in conjunction with a 4S / 2600 mAh battery and an 8 x 6” propeller. The fuselage features an integral aero-tow release which can be utilised simply by installing a further Hitec HS-65HB servo - even if the electric motor and retract unit are installed! This option offers tremendous flying fun, and makes the Lentus the safest of models for gaining experience in aero-towing, as it is possible to drop the tow instantly if a critical situation arises; the model can then be brought back to the launch point using the electric motor. The model’s modern airfoil selection endows it with a very broad performance spectrum, and also promotes a dynamic flying style. The four-flap wing (ailerons and flaps) provides good glide path control for really accurate landings (Butterfly / Crow braking).
