The world leader in drone technology, DJI, have released an exciting new product for those looking for the next big thing in the realm of drone flying - the DJI Mavic Pro! Now as portable as ever for wherever you go.
The DJI Mavic presents itself as the true all in one flying camera. The DJI Mavic Pro will automatically follow you and avoids obstacles like its bigger siblings the Phantom 3 and Phantom 4 using Active Tracking System. With a true 4K, 12MP, 3-Axis stabilised camera, the DJI Mavic Pro is ultra small without losing the technology and functionality.
The DJI Mavic Pro includes dual satellite connectivity and all new transmission system with upto 27-mins of flight time. 5-Cameras operate together with new IMU and GPU’s providing redundancy in-flight.
It is powered by 24 computing cores to process the 3-Dimensional space to understand its relative altitude with a terrain monitoring system. With design cues from mobile gaming devices the controller uses new 1080p signal with upto 7km communication distance.
The user interface incorporates gesture control via the updated DJI GO APP. Gesture control takes the control interface to a new level. Using hand gestures you can suggest to the DJI Mavic Pro to take a selfie, or follow you, otherwise you can simply use the controller interface to move and control the drone.
Although the DJI Mavic Pro is compact in size, the 4K camera uses technology found in all of DJI's cameras. The DJI Mavic Pro has a 1/2.3 inch CMOS image sensor and an aerial optimised integrated lens with a focal length of 28mm, creating clear 4K video at 30fps, 1080P video at 96fps and 12 megapixel photos.
The high precision 3-axis gimbal is the smallest that DJI has ever made, acheiving smooth aerial footage even during high speed motion. You can also turn the camera 90 degrees to acheive portrait orientated images.
Creative freedom is at the fore of DJI and it’s design principles; Active Track, Tripod Mode, don't look any further. Wherever you are DJI wants to create with the all new Mavic Pro RTF.
Editing your aerial photography and videography has never been easier with the DJI GO Editor within the DJI GO App. Use the automatic video templates, video editing functions and easy photo and video management to create your own masterpiece. Share it with your friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram as well as SkyPixel - DJI's own aerial imaging sharing site. You can also live stream your flight to Facebook and Youtube, all through the DJI GO App.
The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone that turns the sky into your creative canvass easily and without worry, helping you make every moment an aerial moment. Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity that makes it one of DJI’s most sophisticated flying cameras ever. 24 high-performance computing cores, an all-new transmission system with a 7km range, 5 vision sensors, and a 4K camera stabilized by a 3-axis mechanical gimbal, are at your command with just a push of your thumb or a tap of your finger.
Not finishing at that. DJI has realised that 65+ KMh speeds are achievable and have incorporated a sports mode and immersive flight feeling like those small FPV racing drones that are often custom built. Recently realeased, the all new DJI Goggles enable upto two users to view flight footage at any time when bound to a DJI Mavic Pro.
